Norskprøven C1 – høyere akademisk nivå is HK-dir's Norwegian test at C1 level. Its two subtests combine skills: you listen and then write, and you read and then speak. The result is C1 or Ikke bestått – there is no B2 fallback. It is not Bergenstesten (Test i norsk – høyere nivå), a separate B2/C1 test from Folkeuniversitetet. No. It prepares you for Norskprøven C1 – høyere akademisk nivå, so it assumes you already have solid intermediate Norwegian (around B2) and works at C1 level throughout.

No. They are two separate tests. Norskprøven C1 – høyere akademisk nivå is run by HK-dir, measures only C1, and is built on listen-then-write and read-then-speak tasks. Bergenstesten (Test i norsk – høyere nivå) is run by Folkeuniversitetet, measures B2 and C1, and has a separate written test and oral test; Folkeuniversitetet lists its current test dates on its own site. This course gives practice in the two-part structure of Norskprøven C1; it is not a Bergenstesten course.
Is the Norwegian practice free, and does it issue a result?
No. The course and the simulator are paid and need an account, and no result we show counts as an exam result - only HK-dir awards C1. HK-dir publishes example tests with rated sample answers, linked below.
