Theory
On the unit circle, point (x, y) at angle θ:
- cos(θ) = x
- sin(θ) = y
- tan(θ) = y/x
**Special Angles:**
- 0°: (1, 0)
- 90°: (0, 1)
- 180°: (-1, 0)
- 270°: (0, -1)
Examples
Find sin(30°) and cos(30°)
Solution: sin(30°) = ½, cos(30°) = √3/2
