Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Job Tests Portal collects, how we use it, when we share it, and what choices you have. It applies to our website, practice tests, courses, subscriptions, and related support services.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account and profile information: your name, email address, login credentials, and any profile details you add.
  • Learning and practice data: test attempts, answers, scores, progress history, lesson activity, saved plans, and similar training records.
  • Billing and subscription records: plan selections, billing status, renewal state, Stripe customer identifiers, and payment event metadata. We do not store full payment card numbers.
  • Communications: messages you send to support, feedback, or other enquiries.
  • Website and browser usage information: when you use our website, this may include IP address, browser type, an IP-derived approximate region, pages viewed, referral data, and similar web telemetry.
  • Mobile-app diagnostics and usage: crash reports, performance diagnostics, app interactions, and device or app-instance identifiers as described in the app-store privacy disclosures. The mobile apps do not request location permission. In app versions that include optional AppsFlyer attribution, AppsFlyer receives an IP address and derives an approximate region when you enable that measurement. We do not use advertising identifiers for this measurement, and Sentry is configured not to store users' IP addresses.
  • Cookie and local storage preferences: consent choices and certain on-device settings, such as cookie preferences and interface preferences.

2. How We Use Information

  • Provide the service, maintain your account, and deliver the content you request.
  • Process subscriptions, trials, renewals, cancellations, and billing support.
  • Show progress, analytics, and personalized study recommendations inside the platform.
  • Respond to support requests, investigate errors, and protect the platform against abuse or fraud.
  • Improve the service, troubleshoot performance issues, and understand aggregate usage patterns.
  • Run optional analytics and advertising tools only after you have made the applicable website-cookie or mobile-app analytics choice.

3. Legal Bases and Consent

We process information where needed to provide the service you ask us to provide, to manage our legitimate business operations, to comply with legal obligations, or where you have given consent. On the website, optional analytics and advertising technologies are only loaded after consent through the cookie banner; you can review or change that website choice through our Cookie Policy page. In the mobile app, Firebase Analytics follows your existing optional analytics choice. In versions with AppsFlyer, attribution stays off until you accept the expanded analytics and attribution notice, including when you previously enabled Firebase. Choosing Not now on that notice leaves any existing Firebase choice unchanged and keeps AppsFlyer off. You can review the notice under Profile > Settings > Analytics and attribution; switching that setting off stops both SDKs' optional measurement. Apple may separately send privacy-preserving ad-attribution reports through its operating system; this app setting does not suppress those reports.

4. Service Providers and Tools We Use

We use third-party providers to operate the service. Depending on how you use the platform, those providers may include:

  • Stripe for subscription billing, payment processing, fraud prevention, and customer billing portal functions. Stripe acts as our service provider for some processing and as an independent controller for regulated payment, fraud-prevention, legal, and payment-network functions described in its own privacy notice.
  • Google Cloud for hosting and infrastructure.
  • Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager for optional analytics after consent. Google may act as a service provider or, for limited Google-product functions enabled under its terms and settings, as an independent controller.
  • Meta Pixel and LinkedIn Insight Tag for optional advertising measurement after consent. Meta and LinkedIn act as independent controllers for their platform measurement, reporting, personalization, and service-improvement purposes under their own privacy notices.
  • Google Gemini (Google) for AI-powered features. Content is sent only when you explicitly start an AI action; before user-provided writing, assessment responses, or job-posting content is sent, the app names the AI provider and asks for permission. Under the applicable API terms, your content is not used to train the provider's models, and the provider is bound to privacy and security protections the same as or equivalent to those described in this policy.
  • OpenAI (OpenAI) for AI-powered features. Content is sent only when you explicitly start an AI action; before user-provided writing, assessment responses, or job-posting content is sent, the app names the AI provider and asks for permission. Under the applicable API terms, your content is not used to train the provider's models, and the provider is bound to privacy and security protections the same as or equivalent to those described in this policy.
  • Anthropic (Claude) (Anthropic) for AI-powered features. Content is sent only when you explicitly start an AI action; before user-provided writing, assessment responses, or job-posting content is sent, the app names the AI provider and asks for permission. Under the applicable API terms, your content is not used to train the provider's models, and the provider is bound to privacy and security protections the same as or equivalent to those described in this policy.
  • RevenueCat to manage mobile subscription status, purchases, renewals, restores, and entitlement access.
  • Sentry for crash reports, diagnostics, and performance troubleshooting. We configure Sentry not to store users' IP addresses.
  • Firebase Analytics for optional mobile-app usage analytics after the user accepts analytics collection.
  • AppsFlyer, in app versions that include it, for optional measurement of app installs, JTP advertising effectiveness, registration, checkout and purchase activity. After acceptance of the expanded notice, this includes app-install identifiers, technical device information, IP-derived approximate region, and product identifiers, listed price and currency for checkout and purchase observations. These observations can be linked to an app installation. Listed prices may differ from the amount actually charged. RevenueCat remains responsible for mobile subscription and entitlement records. In Android versions with Meta attribution enabled, accepting the updated notice also permits AppsFlyer to share install and event data attributed to Meta ads with Meta to measure JTP advertising. Our Meta event mappings exclude event values and revenue and are limited to users attributed to Meta. The iOS app keeps device-level partner sharing blocked and uses Apple's aggregate attribution mechanism. Meta's processing is described in its Privacy Policy.

Where a provider acts as our processor or service provider, our agreements and service configuration require documented-instruction processing and privacy and security protections that are the same as or equivalent to the protections described in this policy. Some providers also act as independent controllers for the limited purposes identified above; their own privacy notices govern that processing. We limit those disclosures through our settings and consent choices, and optional website analytics and advertising tools load only after consent. We use these providers to support our business operations, not to sell your personal information for cash.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use essential technologies to keep the site functioning, protect accounts, and remember your preferences. Optional analytics and advertising tools are only activated after consent. More detail, including how to change your choice later, is available in our Cookie Policy.

6. Sharing and Disclosure

We share personal information only where reasonably necessary to run the service, process payments, comply with law, protect rights and security, or support a business transfer such as a merger or asset sale. We do not sell personal information for cash.

7. Retention

We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate your account, maintain training history, handle billing and disputes, enforce our terms, and meet legal or tax obligations. Retention periods vary by data type and the reason the data was collected.

8. Your Choices and Requests

You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information, or to ask about objection and restriction rights where available under applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. Signed-in users can manage their data directly from the Data Request page, where you can download a JSON export of your account data, clear your saved test history without deleting your account, or start an account-deletion flow. If you use our mobile app, you can also request account deletion from Profile > Settings > Delete Account. 9. International Processing and Security

Your information may be processed in countries where we or our providers operate. We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including HTTPS in transit and secure password hashing for account credentials. No system can guarantee absolute security.

10. Children's Privacy

The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may post a notice on the site or update the effective date above.
